Where fabrication is fab
The DXARTS Digital Fabrication Lab (Fab Lab), opened in 2019, gives students access to advanced computer-aided design, manufacturing and prototyping machines as well as traditional power and hand tools. The lab includes a woodshop, metal shop, electronics lab, CAD workstations, 3D printers and laser cutters. The facility also houses the DXARTS Observatory — a flexible project space for installation research and exhibitions.
